Searching for a Schedule Incentive Record
The Schedule Incentive Search screen is the default screen, used to search for available schedules available for bidding. Qualified employees can submit a bid or view the status of the current bid.
All schedules the employee is qualified to work (which also meet the selection criteria) are displayed. Depending on a preference setting, the results are either displayed in a grid or in a monthly calendar style.
Note
In order for an employee to have Position Permissions to an available schedule incentive, a matching Position Code field must be entered in one of the employee's Labor Distribution records. It is not enough to have a job class/organization unit match to the position; the field itself must have a value.
Grid View
When the grid view is displayed, check the box on each record and then click the folder to open a bid and view the details.
Monthly View
When the monthly view is displayed, a icon is displayed on each day a Schedule Incentive option occurs. Employees are able to scroll through the months to determine if there are Schedule Incentive records on previous or next months. Click the icon to open the screen to submit a bid.
Note
The option to display the calendar view or grid view is set up in

The following related topics are available: |
Activity Code

Auto Approve
Determines whether this schedule incentive record will be automatically approved by the system (Yes/No).
-
When set to No, the system does no processing on the schedule upon the Close Date and Time. This setting requires that a manager reviews the schedule and the submitted bids and approves an employee, or closes the schedule manually.
-
When set to Yes, the system automatically accepts the lowest bid as of the Close Date and Time (provided the schedule does not create an exception above the allowed level) and closes the schedule incentive. If the system cannot locate a qualified employee, the automatic approval process fails, and the bid must be manually awarded by an authorized user.
Note
The level of exception that can be overridden when a bid is auto approved is set on the
field.
Organization Unit
The organization unit of the schedule. The levels available and the labels of the organization levels depend on the structure of the corporation.
